A Poem: Palaces, Once Grand

Hereby a poem. It's about decay. I got the inspiration for it after reading Clark Ashton Smith. Personally, I don't believe in decay and destruction. This is just a literary outing into rotting, decaying landscapes.

Decay, decay, rotting decay;
I stumble 'round in rotting decay...

Among laughing gnomes and skulls on poles,
and stagnant pools and Hadean flowers,
and ruins of temples and palaces grand --
I stumble 'round in rotting decay.

Decay, decay, rotting decay,
I stumble 'round in rotting decay.
